FilterX Condensate Polisher is a co-current style ion exchange softener typically used for high-temperature applications. Hardness and iron/ copper oxides in boiler condensate can easily damage plumbing, valves and downstream equipment and can cause scaling and thermal efficiency loss which is harmful to boilers. The FilterX Condensate Polisher removes hardness (scale-forming calcium and magnesium ions) and iron/copper oxides and replaces them with soluble sodium ions.
Newterra’s FilterX Condensate Polisher is engineered to optimize power generation and industrial processes by purifying condensate, effectively removing contaminants such as dissolved minerals, corrosion products, and organic compounds. This advanced polishing system employs state-of-the-art filtration and ion exchange technologies to ensure the highest quality of water is returned to the steam cycle, minimizing scale formation and corrosion in boilers and turbines. Designed for efficiency and reliability, the FilterX Condensate Polisher enhances the operational lifespan of equipment, reduces maintenance costs, and improves overall system performance. Its compact design allows for easy integration into existing setups, making it a versatile solution for industries looking to maximize the efficiency of their steam and power generation processes.
