Air Injection Manifolds
air injection manifolds are used to divide an air stream into any number of smaller air streams for distribution to air sparge injection wells or pneumatically-driven submersible pumps. a manifold consists of a main pipe for the incoming air supply, and branch legs for distribution. since they usually control the process downstream, the branch legs can come equipped with a variety of equipment including:
- valves for shutoff and flow control
- gauges for temperature and pressure
- sampling ports
- flow meters
different materials of construction are available for manifolds depending on the required pressure and temperature. other considerations when designing a manifold are air flow rate, and the number of required branch legs.
at newterra, we build our own air injection manifolds, allowing us to offer almost limitless customization.
please see the provided specification sheets and manuals for more detailed information on air injection manifolds.
